"Out of a tuft a little lark
Went higher up than I could mark,
His little throat was all one thirst
To sing until his heart should burst
To sing aloft in golden light
His song from blue air out of sight."
from THE EVERLASTING MERCY
by John Masefield
"Higher still and higher,
From the earth thou springest
Like a cloud of fire;
The blue deep thou wingest,
And singing still dost soar,
and soaring ever singest."
from TO A SKYLARK
by Percy Bysshe Shelley
In this video clip, I had the role of Agnes Gooch in the outdoor summer theater production of MAME at the Arts Center of the Ozarks in Springdale, Arkansas, in 1988. It is a character role, and I was speaking in a voice not normal for me.
God blessed me with a voice so that I could sing my heart out. I hope others will feel blessed by some of what I sing. I wrote the lyrics and music, and sang and played the accompaniment for all of the songs on my CD entitled BLESSED.

Here is a music video for the song "Christmas Ties", Track 7 on my CD. Be sure to come back and see my theatre photos (2 pages).
